Ragazzi Seafood & Bar — case: restaurant website with booking

Goal

A site that makes you want to book a table.

To show what a seafood restaurant group's website can be: as warm and lively as the restaurant itself, and very simple at the main thing — finding the right location and booking a table in a minute.

Task

Five restaurants, a big menu and one clear page.

The group has five locations, a menu with a dozen sections, weekday lunches and regular offers. Guests shouldn't get lost: everything important sits on one page, and booking is one click away from any screen.

Visually, we wanted to move away from template restaurant sites with dark backgrounds and stock photos. The style is built on a warm paper palette, the classic Cormorant serif and arches echoing windows and display cases. The background is a fish pattern drawn for the project.

How we did it

Animation that guides you through the page.

Every block opens in its own way but to one rhythm: smooth scrolling, headings sliding in line by line, photos emerging from arches. The animation never gets in the way of reading — it hints where to look next.

First screen and preloader. The logo appears with a loading counter, the curtains part, the name assembles letter by letter, and the photo arches move at different speeds as you scroll.

A menu you want to browse. Signature shrimp are split into “on ice” and “on fire”: tap an item and a photo of the dish unfolds. The full menu is split into tabs, and the cursor hints at what you can do.

Interior in a horizontal strip. The block pins to the screen, and regular scrolling moves the photos sideways — as if walking along the bar. A thin progress line fills at the bottom.

Booking with table choice. Guests pick a restaurant, date and time, then a specific table on the floor plan: at the bar, by the window or on the sofas. Taken tables are visible at once, and if no table is chosen the admin picks the best free one.

Admin panel. All bookings in one place: filters by restaurant and status, search by name and phone, a guest card with history and notes, a floor plan for the chosen time and CSV export.
